The PondSelect Universal White Fountain Lighting Kit is a classic-look white LED kit for floating fountains. Pick warm white (a soft yellow tone, 3,000 K) or bright white (a cool white tone, 5,000 K+) depending on the look you want - warm white reads more decorative and traditional; bright white reads more modern and crisp. Either way you get a clean, brilliant white display without the cycling colors of the color-changing kit.
Two wattages cover most fountain sizes: 6 W per fixture for residential and mid-range fountains (PondSelect Classic / E-Series, 1/3 to 1 HP), and 12 W per fixture for larger fountains and lake fountains where you need brighter throw (1.5 HP+, Stainless Steel Pro Lake Fountain 1 HP). Pick a 2, 3, or 4 light set to match the visual you want - more lights = wider, brighter illumination.
Pick a cord length (75, 100, 150, or 200 ft) that reaches from the fountain to a shore-mounted GFCI outlet. Requirements & What to Know Before You Buy
- Fountain Compatibility: universal-fit. Works with PondSelect Classic, E-Series, and Stainless Steel Pro fountains; also works with most Vertex, Kasco, Scott Aerator, and other floating fountain brands. Mounting brackets clip to the float ring.
- Color Tone: Warm White (3,000 K) reads as a soft yellow tone, traditional and decorative. Bright White (5,000 K+) reads as a cool crisp white, modern. Both at the same price - pick by aesthetic.
- Wattage Sizing: 6 W per fixture is right for fountains up to 1 HP (Classic Series, E-Series). Step up to 12 W for fountains 1.5 HP and above or for lake-scale installs.
- Set Size: PondSelect recommends 3-Light Sets as the default; 2-Light Sets are economical for smaller fountains; 4-Light Sets work for larger fountains where you want maximum illumination.
- Cord Length: 75 ft, 100 ft, 150 ft, or 200 ft. Match the cord to your fountain's cord length if you can.
- Power: 115V household current. Plug the transformer into a properly sized GFCI-protected dedicated outlet.
- Timer: the included outdoor timer mounts inline with the transformer at the shore. Mechanical daily timer with adjustable on/off pins.
- Winterization: remove the kit from the water before freezing conditions.
