Keep Your Fountain Exactly Where You Want It

The Airmax Mooring Kit is a complete shoreline-to-fountain anchoring package - two shore stakes, two stainless carabiners, four cable clamps, and 150 to 500 ft of black vinyl-coated galvanized wire. Everything you need to hold any floating fountain in position against wind and wave action, whether the fountain sits 20 ft from shore in a small residential pond or 250 ft out in the middle of a half-acre HOA lake.

Compatible with every Airmax floating fountain (EcoSeries, PondSeries, SolarSeries, LakeSeries) and works with any other brand of floating fountain with a compatible tie-down point. Vinyl coating keeps the wire from galvanic reaction with pond water and prevents skin injuries during install. Two cable clamps come pre-installed on the mooring lines - just uncoil, run through the fountain tie point, secure with the remaining clamps, and drive the stakes.

Pick your length by measuring from the fountain out to the shore anchor points. The 150 ft kit ships as two 75 ft sections - typical for backyard residential ponds. The 250 ft kit ships as two 125 ft sections for mid-size ponds up to 1/4 acre. The 500 ft kit ships as one 500 ft section for large ponds, HOA lakes, and commercial installs where you may need a single long run.

Requirements & What to Know Before You Buy

  • Fountain Compatibility: works with all Airmax floating fountains (EcoSeries, PondSeries, SolarSeries, LakeSeries) and any other brand of floating fountain with a compatible tie-down point on the float.
  • Measure First: measure from the fountain's intended location out to the shore anchor points on both sides. The mooring line runs from stake to fountain to stake (or corner to corner), so total run length = shore-to-fountain + fountain-to-shore.
  • 150 ft Kit: two 75 ft sections. Standard for backyard residential ponds where the fountain sits 20-75 ft from either shore.
  • 250 ft Kit: two 125 ft sections. For mid-size ponds up to 1/4 acre with the fountain 75-125 ft from shore.
  • 500 ft Kit: a single 500 ft section. Best when you need one continuous run - large ponds, HOA lakes, or when the anchor points are not directly across from each other.
  • Shore Anchor Points: the included stakes are galvanized steel and drive into soil. On rocky or paved shorelines you may need to substitute a concrete anchor or heavy dock cleat.
  • Slack: leave 5 to 10 percent slack in the mooring line so the fountain can rise and fall with rain events and seasonal water-level changes. Too tight and the line pulls the fountain under during heavy rain.
  • Winter: mooring line stays in place year-round on ponds that ice over lightly. In deep-freeze climates, disconnect the fountain from the mooring at the carabiners before ice forms so the moving ice sheet does not stress the float.
  • Sizing Help: Call (470) 354-1969 with your pond dimensions and we will confirm which kit fits.

What's Included & Optional Add-Ons

  • 2 Stainless Carabiners - clip onto fountain tie-down point
  • 4 Cable Clamps - 2 pre-installed on the mooring lines; 2 spare for shore-side termination
