SolarSeries Direct Drive ($5,800): Solar panel powers the aeration compressor directly during daylight hours. No battery pack. When the sun goes down, the system stops. Best when daytime-only aeration is sufficient for your pond size and biological load. Simplest and lowest-cost solar option.

SolarSeries Battery Backup ($8,200): Adds a battery pack that stores solar-generated energy during the day and releases it overnight. Result: 24-hour continuous aeration. Best when the pond needs constant aeration for fish health, algae control, or higher biological load.

General rule: smaller ponds with lower biological load do fine with Direct Drive. Larger ponds, fish-heavy ponds, or ponds where you cannot tolerate any aeration downtime should choose Battery Backup.

Under 1/4 acre residential: EcoSeries 1/2 HP ($1,850). Entry Airmax fountain, accessible pricing.

1/4 to 1/2 acre residential: PondSeries Pond Fountain ($3,200). Step up in spray height and HP.

Off-grid pond: SolarSeries Pond Fountain ($10,350). Solar-powered fountain, no shore-side electrical needed.

Depends on your install:

Weighted airline ($50): For running airline from shore compressor cabinet to pond-bottom diffuser. Weighted sinks to the bottom, protects the tubing from surface debris.

Direct-burial airline ($55): For running airline underground from the compressor cabinet through your yard/lawn to the pond edge. UV-resistant and rated for direct burial.

Fountain Mooring Kit ($150): Required for anchoring a floating fountain in a pond. Anchors, ropes, and hardware.

Premium Fountain Nozzles ($250): Additional spray-pattern nozzle options for Airmax fountains. Swap between different patterns without buying a new fountain.

Remote Manifold Kit ($530): Multi-port manifold for extending an aeration system to several diffuser locations on larger or irregularly-shaped ponds.

LakeSeries Fountains (2, 3, 5 HP): 230V single-phase.

LakeSeries Fountains 7.5 and 10 HP 3-Phase: 230V or 460V 3-phase electrical service required (commercial-grade install, usually requires a licensed electrician).

SolarSeries Aeration and SolarSeries Fountain: NO shore-side electrical required. Solar-panel powered.

Aeration systems (Shallow Water, PondSeries): Yes, standard DIY-appropriate install for residential pond owners. Set the compressor cabinet on a level pad, run airline to the pond, anchor the diffusers on the bottom, plug into 115V outlet.

SolarSeries systems: Yes, still DIY-appropriate but slightly more involved due to solar panel siting (needs south-facing sun exposure) and battery placement.

EcoSeries and PondSeries fountains: DIY. Mooring kit, plug into 115V outlet.

LakeSeries 2, 3, 5 HP fountains: Larger and heavier, often benefit from a two-person install or contractor help. 230V outlet may require electrician.

LakeSeries 7.5 or 10 HP 3-Phase: Commercial-grade install requiring licensed electrician for 3-phase electrical service, plus contractor help for fountain placement.
