Scott Aerator AquaSweep Muck Blaster
Push Muck and Reopen Your Pond Bottom with the Scott AquaSweep
Settled muck, dead weeds, leaves, and silt accumulate fastest along shorelines, dock approaches, and the bottom of swim areas. The Scott AquaSweep mounts to the dock you already have and aims a focused, high-volume jet of water across the bottom to push that debris well past 100 feet from the unit. Within hours of running, you can see the bottom open back up; within a season, customers report meaningful changes to overall pond health and visibility. Pick from 1/3, 1/2, 3/4, or 1 HP based on your pond size and the area you need cleared.
Underneath the discharge head is the same engineering Scott Aerator builds into every product. The oil-free, stainless steel submersible motor runs continuously at 3,450 RPM with no scheduled maintenance, no oil changes, and no separate control box. Construction is marine-grade stainless throughout, including the motor housing, so the unit handles fresh, salt, and brackish water without special prep. Every AquaSweep is built in Holland, Michigan, ARL-tested as a complete package, and backed by Scott Aerator's unconditional 5-year motor warranty.
Choose 50, 100, or 150 ft of factory-attached submersible cord and pick a mount that fits how you plan to deploy. The standard dock plate is the easiest install, the dock post bracket fits round metal posts, the truss mount works on metal-frame docks, and the tripod mount lets you place the unit on the lakebed with no dock at all. Add an optional oscillator to auto-rotate the AquaSweep on its mount for a wider clearing pattern, or leave it pointed for a single-target push.
The Scott AquaSweep is a dock-mounted muck blaster that pushes settled muck, dead weeds, and silt 100+ ft from your shoreline. Reopens swim areas, dock approaches, and beach fronts that other circulators can't touch.
Stainless steel oil-free submersible motor at 3,450 RPM. 24-hour continuous duty, no maintenance, no control box, salt or fresh water. Made in Holland, Michigan with a 5-year unconditional motor warranty.

Key Features
- Stainless Steel Submersible Motor: Sealed, oil-free, marine-grade stainless construction including the motor housing. Engineered for continuous 24-hour operation with no scheduled service intervals.
- Four Motor Sizes Across Two Voltages: 1/3, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 HP. All four are offered in 115V or 230V. The 115V models include a Hubbell marine-style plug; the 230V models hardwire to a panel and are recommended for longer cord runs.
- Four Mount Types in the Variant Dropdown: Standard dock plate (included on every order), dock post bracket (round metal posts), truss mount (metal-frame docks), or tripod mount (sits on the lakebed, no dock required).
- 12 ga Submersible Cord, 50 to 150 ft: Factory-attached 12-gauge submersible cord in your choice of 50, 100, or 150 ft. Larger motor sizes use 10-gauge on longer 115V runs to avoid voltage drop. Custom lengths beyond 150 ft are available on request.
- Salt and Fresh Water Approved: Marine-grade stainless construction handles fresh, salt, and brackish water with no coatings or sleeves required.
- Year-Round, No-Winterize Design: Built to handle subzero temperatures with the unit in place. Cut power when the season ends, let ice form, and restart in the spring with no damage.

Requirements & What to Know Before You Buy
- Dedicated GFCI Circuit: a GFCI-protected circuit is mandatory. Have a licensed electrician verify your existing wiring before installation.
- Power Off Around Swimmers: disconnect power any time someone is in the water. This applies to every electric pond product, not just the AquaSweep.
- No Extension Cords: running power through an extension cord is not permitted. Order a longer factory cord or have a licensed electrician install a dedicated line if 150 ft is not enough.
- Choosing 115V or 230V: all four motor sizes ship in both voltages. 115V plugs into a standard outlet via a Hubbell marine-style plug. 230V hardwires to a panel and is recommended for longer cord runs to avoid voltage drop.
- Mounting Options: standard dock plate is included. Dock post bracket, truss mount, and tripod mount are available as variant upgrades. Pick the option that matches how you plan to deploy the unit.
- Aim Direction: point the unit toward the area you want cleared. Loose muck, weeds, and silt get carried 100+ ft in the direction the unit is facing. Optional oscillator auto-rotates for wider clearing.
- Salt and Fresh Water: rated for fresh, salt, and brackish water out of the box. No special treatment required.
- Continuous-Duty Motor: the AquaSweep is rated to run nonstop. Optional oscillator and timer accessories let you cycle and rotate automatically.
