Add Aeration and an Elegant Display with the Kasco VFX

If you want a pond that looks beautiful AND stays healthy, the Kasco VFX is the cleanest way to do both at once. The VFX is a true crossover - half display fountain, half high-flow surface aerator. The pump pulls water in through a bottom screen and dispenses it as a clean, V-shaped spray pattern that aerates the upper water column while creating a focal point you can see from across the property. Available from 1/2 HP up to 5 HP for ponds and lakes from a fraction of an acre up to several acres.

Every Kasco VFX runs on a sealed stainless steel submersible motor with a UL- and CSA-listed GFCI-protected control panel as standard equipment. The control panel includes a photocell input for the optional WaterGlow lighting kit and a timer dial so you can program when the fountain runs each day. The float and bottom screen are high-density thermoplastic, UV-resistant, and built to handle continuous outdoor use. The unit operates in as little as 15 inches of water, which makes it a fit for shallow ponds where most other fountains can't reach.

Pick your unit from 1/2 HP (2400VFX) up through the 5 HP 5.1VFX, choose 120V or 240V where both are available, and pair it with a 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, or 400 ft submersible power cord. The included cord is rated for direct submersion. If you need extra protection in harsh environments or rocky bottoms, the Stainless Steel Protected Cord upgrade is available as an add-on at order time. Add an optional Kasco WaterGlow lighting kit to keep the display lit after dark.

  • Dedicated GFCI Circuit: Kasco's control panel handles GFCI protection, but it must be wired into a properly sized dedicated circuit. Have a licensed electrician verify your existing wiring.
  • Power Off Around Swimmers: disconnect power any time someone enters the water.
  • Minimum Water Depth: 15 inches under the float at the planned placement point. Measure where the unit will sit, not at the shoreline.
  • Mooring: two mooring lines are included; you supply anchors or weights to hold the float in position.
  • Cord Routing: the included submersible cord runs from the unit to your control panel and breaker. Choose a length that reaches comfortably without strain. The Stainless Steel Protected Cord upgrade is a separate add-on; SS lengths over 200 ft are special-order and ship in roughly 4 weeks.
  • Voltage Selection: 1/2 HP is 120V only. 3/4 HP and 1 HP are available in both 120V and 240V (240V recommended for longer cord runs to avoid voltage drop). 2 HP and 5 HP are 240V only.

If you want a pond that looks beautiful AND stays healthy, the Kasco VFX is the cleanest way to do both at once. The VFX is a true crossover - half display fountain, half high-flow surface aerator. The pump pulls water in through a bottom screen and dispenses it as a clean, V-shaped spray pattern that aerates the upper water column while creating a focal point you can see from across the property. Available from 1/2 HP up to 5 HP for ponds and lakes from a fraction of an acre up to several acres.

Every Kasco VFX runs on a sealed stainless steel submersible motor with a UL- and CSA-listed GFCI-protected control panel as standard equipment. The control panel includes a photocell input for the optional WaterGlow lighting kit and a timer dial so you can program when the fountain runs each day. The float and bottom screen are high-density thermoplastic, UV-resistant, and built to handle continuous outdoor use. The unit operates in as little as 15 inches of water, which makes it a fit for shallow ponds where most other fountains can't reach.

Pick your unit from 1/2 HP (2400VFX) up through the 5 HP 5.1VFX, choose 120V or 240V where both are available, and pair it with a 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, or 400 ft submersible power cord. The included cord is rated for direct submersion. If you need extra protection in harsh environments or rocky bottoms, the Stainless Steel Protected Cord upgrade is available as an add-on at order time. Add an optional Kasco WaterGlow lighting kit to keep the display lit after dark.

Requirements & What to Know Before You Buy

  • Dedicated GFCI Circuit: Kasco's control panel handles GFCI protection, but it must be wired into a properly sized dedicated circuit. Have a licensed electrician verify your existing wiring.
  • Power Off Around Swimmers: disconnect power any time someone enters the water.
  • Minimum Water Depth: 15 inches under the float at the planned placement point. Measure where the unit will sit, not at the shoreline.
  • Mooring: two mooring lines are included; you supply anchors or weights to hold the float in position.
  • Cord Routing: the included submersible cord runs from the unit to your control panel and breaker. Choose a length that reaches comfortably without strain. The Stainless Steel Protected Cord upgrade is a separate add-on; SS lengths over 200 ft are special-order and ship in roughly 4 weeks.
  • Voltage Selection: 1/2 HP is 120V only. 3/4 HP and 1 HP are available in both 120V and 240V (240V recommended for longer cord runs to avoid voltage drop). 2 HP and 5 HP are 240V only.
  • Frequency / Phase: 60 Hz single-phase standard. 50 Hz and three-phase configurations are available on the larger units on request - call for a quote.
