Three-Phase Commercial Fountains for Ponds Up to 12 Acres
The Airmax LakeSeries 7.5 & 10 HP fountains are the largest single-fountain platforms Airmax builds - engineered for 3-phase commercial power (230V or 460V), water-cooled sealed motors rated for 24/7 duty on multi-acre lakes, and the same patent-pending ISP (Innovative Stability Platform) float that the smaller LakeSeries uses. The 7.5 HP covers ponds up to about 8 acres; the 10 HP handles up to 12 acres with the tallest, widest LakeSeries spray displays available.
These are 3-phase-only fountains - they require dedicated commercial electrical service and are not compatible with residential single-phase power. Pick 230V for shorter runs from a commercial 3-phase distribution point (24 A on the 7.5 HP, 32 A on the 10 HP), or 460V for lower amp draw across long shore-run conduit distances (12 A on the 7.5 HP, 16 A on the 10 HP).
Cord is not included. The 7.5 and 10 HP builds are almost always installed by a certified professional at the site — call for cord pricing sized to your specific shore-to-fountain distance. Spray nozzles are also sold separately. Backed by a 5-year Airmax manufacturer warranty.

Requirements & What to Know Before You Buy
- Three-Phase Power Required: both fountains are 3-phase only. Residential single-phase power will not run these motors. Your site must have commercial 3-phase service or a 3-phase power drop from the utility.
- 230V vs 460V: pick 230V when the shore panel is within moderate distance of the fountain and lower voltage-drop math isn't a concern. Pick 460V when the shore run is long (voltage drop) or the site already has 460V 3-phase service — 460V halves the running amps.
- Pond Size: 7.5 HP for lakes up to ~8 acres; 10 HP for lakes up to ~12 acres. Larger water bodies need multiple LakeSeries fountains or step up to industrial-scale platforms.
- Minimum Depth: 48 in. These are large-motor fountains — shallow-water installs will pull air, cavitate, and stress the seals.
- Nozzles Sold Separately: the fountain ships without a nozzle. Every LakeSeries nozzle (Classic through Spinning Blossom) is compatible — pick the pattern that matches your visual.
- Cord Not Included: the 7.5 and 10 HP builds are typically installed by a professional. Cord pricing depends on your shore-to-fountain distance. Call us with the measurement and we'll price the correct gauge and length.
- Professional Installation Strongly Recommended: 3-phase electrical, mooring layout, cord termination, and initial start-up are best handled by a certified Airmax installer for these HP classes. We can coordinate.
- Mooring: supply anchors and rope separately. Airmax Fountain Mooring Kit (150', 250', or 500') is a separate product — the 500' kit is the typical fit for larger lake installs.
