  • Pond Size: FunnelJet has a wide footprint - 25 to 50 ft diameter - so it needs open water around it. Confirm you have at least 25 ft of clearance to any shoreline on each side of the fountain when running larger motor sizes.

FunnelJet produces a wide, low funnel-shaped pattern - the largest spray diameter relative to height in the Vertex line. Requirements & What to Know Before You Buy

  • Pond Depth: 3 ft minimum on the 2 and 3 HP, 4 ft on the 5 HP, 5 ft on the 7.5 HP, and 6 ft on the 10 HP.
  • Pond Size: FunnelJet has a wide footprint - 25 to 50 ft diameter - so it needs open water around it. Confirm you have at least 25 ft of clearance to any shoreline on each side of the fountain when running larger motor sizes.
  • Voltage and Phase Selection: every motor size is available in 230V single-phase or three-phase. 208V and 460V three-phase configurations are available on request.
  • Dedicated Circuit: the included control panel needs a properly sized dedicated circuit. Confirm with a licensed electrician before install.
  • Mooring: commercial fountains need anchoring. You supply anchors or weights sized to the float and water body.
  • Cable Run: standard cord lengths are available; longer runs are an order-time option.
  • Winterization: Vertex fountains must be removed from water before freezing conditions.
  • Lighting: the suggested LED kit is 3 lights for every motor size. Add at order time so the harness ships with the float.

Shipping/Returns

Shipping

  • Order confirmation is emailed after checkout.
  • Orders typically process within 1 to 2 business days.
  • Delivery times may vary depending on the product, shipping method, and delivery location.
  • A shipping confirmation with tracking details will be sent once your order ships.
  • Any damage or shortage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Please keep the original packaging until the claim is resolved.

Returns

  • Unused Vertex fountains are eligible for return within 60 days with prior return authorization.
  • All returns require approval before the item is sent back.
  • Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in saleable condition.
  • Approved Vertex fountain returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Warranty returns require authorization, the original sales receipt, and an explanation of the product issue.

Warranty

  • Vertex Aquatic Solutions products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.
  • 4-year warranty: In-water fountain components, including the pump, motor, flotation, framework, nozzles, submersible cables, and similar fountain components.
  • 3-year warranty: Vertex compressor systems for defective parts.
  • 2-year warranty: Fountain lighting fixtures, excluding bulbs.
  • 1-year warranty: Fountain control panels.
  • 5-year warranty: AirStation diffuser assemblies.
  • 15-year warranty: BottomLine tubing.
  • Lifetime warranty: Compressor cabinets against rust.
  • Air filters and compressor maintenance kits are considered wearable parts and are not covered under standard warranty coverage.
  • Warranty claims must be made through an authorized Vertex dealer or directly through Vertex Aquatic Solutions.
  • Warranty claims may require product photos, warranty labels, compressor labels, and an overall photo of the system or damaged item.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping when sending products in for warranty inspection.
  • If Vertex determines the issue is due to a manufacturing defect, the product may be repaired or replaced at no cost.
  • Warranty coverage may be void due to incorrect voltage, faulty installation, vandalism, negligence, water intrusion, cabinet painting, or other non-warranty failures.
